The Donaldson Trust envisages a society in which neurodivergent people are understood, accepted, treated fairly, and valued.
A core element of this is ensuring that the priorities, perspectives, and experiences of neurodivergent people, and their families, are made visible. Though there is much work to be done, there are genuine opportunities to change society for the better. As well as delivering services for neurodivergent people, they seek to shape public policy on issues important to the communities we support. Through their neurodiversity training, consultancy, and advisory service, we improve access and opportunity for neurodivergent people.
As the National Body for Neurodiversity, their aim is to be at the forefront of driving meaningful change, working in partnership with neurodivergent people and colleagues across the voluntary, public and private sector to improve outcomes and representation.
