Our task is to keep hearts beating and we focus our work on ourgroundbreaking research.
We are fighting heart disease by:
- funding the largest, independent programme of Heart Health research in Scotland. We have invested £38 million in this field and last year alone we invested over£9m
- providing BHF Scotland Heart Nurses to care for heart patients and to support their families and carers
- funding important education and teaching health professionals and the public
- campaigning with and on behalf of heart patients
- providing life-saving medical equipment
