Active Communities is a community-led health improvement charity based in Johnstone and working across Renfrewshire. Our vision is for everyone to live healthier, fulfilling lives. We focus on building healthy, supportive and vibrant communities through services that enhance social, physical, and mental health.
We work across Renfrewshire, including high schools and community settings, to support communities where they’re at. In 2022, we opened Station Seven—a health and wellbeing hub in Johnstone. Designed collaboratively with the local community, it’s a vibrant, stigma-free space. We address health inequalities by collaborating with community members.
