VHS are pleased to announce that Sarah Latto will be joining the team as Policy & Public Affairs Lead. Sarah joins us from Volunteer Scotland where she was the Senior Policy Officer for three years.
Prior to this, Sarah worked in volunteer management roles at both Shelter Scotland and Children First. She also has experience of the local voluntary sector having worked for Fife Voluntary Action for five years. Sarah is a passionate volunteer and has held a range of voluntary roles since her teens, including befriending, mentoring, and trustee positions.
“I’m delighted to be joining Voluntary Health Scotland as their Policy and Public Affairs Lead. The development of a new VHS Strategy and the Scottish Parliament election next year mean that it is a really exciting time to join the team. I’m looking forward to meeting VHS members in the coming weeks and months – please do send me an email to say ‘hello’!”
Sarah will start in her role at the end of May.
