VHS Chief Executive Tejesh Mistry has signed an open letter which is the result of ongoing, constructive meetings he has attended with influential health leaders. Together, the group are working to find better ways to engage with politicians and decision-makers to drive the change our health system urgently needs.
“With a consensus amongst these leaders that we can achieve change collectively, I am optimistic we can garner further cross-party support and political will through the election process and beyond to make meaningful sustainable change. This is important for the future health of our people in Scotland and the third sector has a vital role to play in achieving better equity.”
Tejesh Mistry, Chief Executive, Voluntary Health Scotland.
