Voluntary Health Scotland and the Poverty Alliance held a roundtable discussion between the third sector and the Scottish Government on 2 May 2013 as part of the Scottish Government’s consultation on the role and scope of the proposed new food body for Scotland. This lively roundtable discussion included 21 representatives from third sector organisations and five from Scottish Government. Topics discussed include food advocacy, food poverty, food labelling and messaging, underlying structural issues and the co-ordination of services.
