Jennifer Forsyth joined the VHS board in November 2023 and has been involved VHS’s Health Policy Officers network for several years. Jennifer is Policy and Member Engagement Officer at the Royal College of Nursing Scotland (since July 2025), having previously held the role of Policy and Evidence Manager at Obesity Action Scotland for more than three and half years, and has worked in various policy roles over the last decade. Across these roles, Jennifer has worked to influence policy on a range of issues in health and social care, including prevention-focused policies and supporting and empowering members and individuals to have their voices heard in the policy making process.
Jennifer is passionate about tackling health inequalities and addressing their underlying causes.
