Galvanising arts and health across Scotland

May 23, 2019

VHS is delighted to partner with Arts + Health Scotland and Art in Hospital for a relaxed seminar bringing professionals from Scotland’s arts and health sectors together with invited speakers Nikki Crane, Jenny Elliot, Angela Rogers and VHS’s Claire Stevens. Delegates attending ‘Galvanising arts and health across Scotland within a national perspective’ on 14th June in Glasgow will hear about developments in England, Ireland and Wales, and discuss a way forward for Scotland. Following the seminar there will be a business meeting to constitute Arts + Health Scotland and appoint a management committee.

“When we speak with a collective voice, policy makers hear, understand and value the sector” (Culture Counts)

This event is now fully booked. For full programme details, click here

Arts + Health Scotland  need you! Immediately after the seminar there will be a short business meeting to form a Voluntary Association.  The plan is to agree a draft constitution and appoint a management committee. See the draft constitution here  Anyone on the Arts + Health Scotland mailing list is eligible to volunteer for a position on the committee. If you wish to propose changes to the draft constitution or volunteer to be part of the committee please email  Joanne Brown at Generation Arts by 1st June.

A seminar produced by Arts + Health Scotland in partnership with VHS and Art in Hospital. With thanks to Creative Scotland and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for support towards visiting speakers.
