Bushra Riaz

Bushra works as Policy lead in Scotland working with Kidney Research UK the leading charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK. She has been with the charity since 2017 and leads also on the Scottish Peer Educator Organ Donation Project working with the south asian ethnic minority communities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. She is a BSc (Hons) graduate in Management and Maths and holds a MSc Marketing. Having worked fulltime within the Marketing field for several years and after the birth of her 3rd child she decided to change career path and work initially within the voluntary sector raising awareness and educating local communities on health. Bushra work within Policy in Scotland has seen her build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders to raise awareness on key health issues to implement awareness and development within the political sector.
