Drawing It All Together: VHS Annual Symposium

November 29, 2013

Voluntary Health Scotland held its 9th Annual General Meeting on Thursday 28 November 2013. This was accompanied by a Symposium to explore and discuss  four big inter-connected themes:

  • Weathering the storm? Small countries, public services & austerity
  • Integrating health and social care for better services for adults
  • Improving health and third sector engagement and partnerships
  • Tackling health inequalities for a fairer, healthier Scotland

The day proved interesting and informative and sparked lively debate between attendees.  The report detailing main themes from the day and all presentations are available below:

VHS Symposium Notes – 28 November 2013

Jennifer Wallace – Weathering the Storm

Claire Stevens – Improving Engagement

Andrew Moore & Marie Oliver – Partnership Working

Sandra Cairney & Wendy Jack – NHS & 3rd Sector Engagement
