Positive Help is a registered Scottish charity which offers volunteer led practical help to those affected by HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Positive Help was set up in 1989 in response to requests for day to day help from those living with HIV in the Edinburgh area. Since then, our services have developed to meet the changing needs of our clients, but our original purpose remains the same though the range of people we support has broadened. We now give free practical support to people living with HIV/ AIDS and Hepatitis C in and around Edinburgh.
Our charitable objectives are: “to relieve the suffering and distress of adults and children in Edinburgh and the Lothian area who are infected or affected by HIV/ AIDS and Hepatitis C and their families, friends and carers”.
