The Engagement Matrix is a tool for NHS boards and Third Sector to use together to support positive engagement, clearer communication, better understanding and improved partnership between sectors. It is designed to improve joint working to promote better health and wellbeing for individuals in Scotland.
Voluntary Health Scotland convened the third meeting of the Leads Network on 10 May 2013. This is a network of representatives from NHS boards and the Third Sector who will drive forward use of the engagement matrix across NHS board areas. The Scottish Government wrote to all NHS boards and third sector interface chief executives at the end of May to jointly identify high impact areas of local collaborative improvement and to complete the Engagement Matrix for each area.
