Health and Social Care in Transition: VHS Member Event

The Scottish Government has now published the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Bill. The Bill introduces the new framework that will integrate the planning and delivery of adult health and social care services.
This VHS event was an opportunity for voluntary health organisations to find out more about the Bill, to explore key questions, and to inform our position on the Bill.
The programme included:
- Scottish Government presentation on the Bill and its implications
- David Steel, formerly Chief Executive of NHS Quality Improvement Scotland, on “Scottish Health Systems in Transition”
- A third sector perspective on health and social care integration in practice
