Edmesh are a small SCIO who aim to support people from Edinburgh and the Lothians area who have the neurological condition Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), often known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or ME-CFS. We seek to advance the health and wellbeing of individual sufferers of ME by providing health promoting activities and support, and advance education of the public, health and social care professionals on the issues relating to ME.
Reason for applying to DiH
Our website is 5 years old and would benefit from a redesign, implementing accessibility best practices to ensure that it as easy for non-sighted visitors to use as it is sighted visitors. We need a site where the content is easily accessible and help users to find what they are looking for quickly and easily. A modern site with responsive design techniques to ensure it provides a good user experience on tablet and mobile devices. This would help to inform and educate visitors to the site about ME.
