In February 2019 the Venice based World Health Organisation European Office for Investment for Health and Development contacted VHS about the WHO Health Equity Status Report Initiative. WHO explained they wished to include a case study on the role and work of the Scottish Parliament’s Cross Party Group (CPG) on Health Inequalities in their planned report on health equity in Europe. VHS is Secretariat of the CPG and liaised with WHO to develop and agree the case study. The full report is due to be published in English and Russian in June 2019.
