VHS launched a new series of postcards at The Gathering on 19 February 2014.
The postcards raise awareness of the work in the voluntary sector to tackle health inequalities, and complemented the VHS session at the event with partners NHS Health Scotland and the Community Health Exchange (CHEX); A Fairer, Healthier Scotland: A Way Forward Together.
The event focused on collaborative approaches across sectors for preventing and tackling health inequalities across Scotland. This is not just an issue for the health sector to consider, but also requires a joined-up approach across the third sector and how the third sector interacts with public bodies.
