Report published on Inquiry into Alternative Pathways to Primary Care

The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee has recently published its final report on its inquiry into alternative pathways to primary care.  As well as referencing the benefits of social prescribing and link working, the report highlights the importance of the Scottish Community Link Worker Network in enabling the sharing of best practice and peer to peer support for CLWs. It also references VHS’s work with ABCD Consulting on commissioning a review into the training and development needs of Community Link Workers.
