Learning to Lead in Health is an accredited programme supporting senior staff in voluntary health sector organisations to develop the confidence and skills for leadership and partnership working. The programme is jointly developed and delivered by VHS and Social Enterprise Academy
The programme provides a space for action learning, reflection and peer support to consider strategic questions and how to make the best of opportunities and manage the challenges of working with statutory bodies. There is the option for final accreditation by the Institute of Learning and Management and their Certificate in Leadership (ILM Level 5/SCQF level 9). The Certificate passports entry to Institute membership.
Here’s what our 42 graduates from 2014 and 2015 thought about the programme:
- 100% of learners felt they had changed and developed as a leader as a result of taking part
- 90% said they feel better able to address the challenges and opportunities in their role
- 100% said they would recommend the Learning to Lead to a friend or colleague
