On 4th April the Health Policy Officers Network invited Mark Simpson, Communications and Engagement Manager at the Scottish Government eHealth division and Zahid Deen Digital Health and Care Strategic Lead at the Health and Social Care Alliance to speak about the Digital Health and Care Strategy. The discussion focused on what the digital strategy would contain and how this would continue to be a living document that reflected the changed and evolving digital environment. There was also a lot of emphasis on what the role of the third sector would be and how the third sector could engage with the strategy. The strategy is intended to be launched at the end of April.
