During 2017 and 2018 the Scottish Government is working on Developing A Culture Strategy for Scotland. As Secretariat to the CPG, VHS organised this particular CPG meeting as its contribution to the government’s initial engagement phase. Topics examined included the positive impact of arts and culture on people’s health, the exclusion from the arts that people with the worst health inequalities may experience, the development of a national culture strategy, and rights based approaches to culture.
