The Scottish Community Link Worker Network recently brought together 40 Community Link Workers from across Scotland to discuss the benefits to them of peer support. The event started with short introductions from Donna Laidlaw from NHS Forth Valley and Chris Flynn and Melanie McIntosh from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde about what peer support means to them. The delegates were then assigned to smaller breakout rooms to enable more in-depth discussion and informal networking with other CLWs from across Scotland. You can read the summary report of the main talking points from the event.
