Voluntary Action in Badenoch & Strathspey (VABS) is part of the Highland Third Sector Interface (HTSI) and a local organisation whose mission is to support third sector organisations (community & voluntary groups, social enterprises) throughout Badenoch and Strathspey. VABS works together to support all of the communities in Badenoch and Strathspey to become stronger, vibrant and successful in achieving what they want to do.
The VABS team has a range of skills, knowledge and experience which it can offer to community groups who want to undertake local community activity and planning.
- Support for groups: providing advice, guidance and support to new, emerging and established third sector organisations.
- Volunteering: providing guidance on volunteering opportunities and training in various skills.
- Social Enterprise: interested in setting up or developing a Social Enterprise and would like help or advice?
- Community Planning: VABS works to represent our local Third Sector in community planning agendas.
