A debate, chaired by Lesley Riddoch, to celebrate 125 years of the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland.
13th November 2014, 4.30pm – 7.30pm
Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, EH21 6UU
History shows us examples of nurses as influential social reformers; at this event we will be exploring the role of contemporary nursing in community empowerment.
We have four excellent guests who will speak to this issue before we open up for discussion with the audience.
- Hilda Campbell, COPE Scotland,
- David Duke, Streetsoccer Scotland,
- Julia Egan, Scottish Government and
- Duncan Selbie, Public Health (PHE).
Join us at 4.30pm for tea and coffee before the event starts at 5pm. We are scheduled to finish at 7pm: please stay and carry on the conversation over drinks and canapes until 7.30pm.
Tickets are FREE and available here. If your spam filter blocks Eventbrite either sign up from a home email account or call the office on 0131 229 2333.
Please join us for what will be a truly stimulating and thought provoking evening.
