Generations Working Together is the nationally recognised centre of excellence supporting the development and integration of intergenerational work across Scotland. We were developed as a partnership programme, by 12 organisations working closely with the Scottish Government Age and Older People Team. The Centre was developed as part of a Scottish Government consultation to explore issues facing society in meeting the challenges of an ageing population.
Our Vision: To live in a Scotland where different generations are more connected and everyone has the opportunity to build relationships that help to create a fairer society.
Our Mission: To develop, expand and improve intergenerational practice across Scotland.
We offer Intergenerational Trainings which cover those coming totally new to intergenerational work and looking for a basic introduction, to opportunities for people planning projects and wanting to learn more of the theory behind an intergenerational approach.
