Close the Gap has two decades’ experience of working with policymakers, employers, and unions on women and work. We are experts on the barriers which affect women’s participation in Scotland’s labour market.
We work with:
– Policymakers working around the labour market, skills and education to advocate that policy recognises women’s experiences.
– Companies, on a confidential basis, to support them to take action that will address the gender pay gap in their business.
– Individual public bodies and sector representative bodies to support work to address women’s inequality, and to meet the requirements of the public sector equality duty
– Individual trade unions to raise awareness of women’s inequality at work, and to build capacity among reps to tackle unequal pay, and the gendered barriers that women face with their workplaces.
