VHS Member Workshop: Demystifying the Disclosure Act

On April 1st 2025, many elements of the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 came into effect, including new legal requirements for organisations that provide services for children or protected adults. Many VHS members will likely have employees and/or volunteers that are within the scope of this new legislation.
If you were unaware of the new Disclosure Act, or you are unsure about how it affects your organisation, this workshop is for you! Representatives from Disclosure Scotland and Volunteer Scotland Disclosure Services will join us to demystify the new legal requirements and answer your questions.
