At Street Soccer Scotland, we believe football is more than just a game—it’s a gateway to hope, healing, and human connection. Every week, we welcome people who’ve been pushed to the margins of society and offer them something many haven’t felt in a long time: belonging.
We’re here for those who’ve been excluded, overlooked, or written off. And we’re here to say: You matter. You belong. You’re not alone.
What We Do
We provide free football sessions, personal development, and education to people facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Whether someone is experiencing homelessness, addiction, mental health struggles, long-term unemployment, or rebuilding after prison—we’re here, without judgement.
How We Do It
We run over 60 sessions every week across Scotland, offering a wide range of programmes:
- Adult Drop-Ins
- Street45 (Women-Only Sessions)
- Youth Engagement
- Prison Outreach
- ASN (Additional Support Needs)
- Football-Themed Education
- Walking Groups & Mental Health Support
- Local & National Tournaments
- Homeless World Cup Participation
But it’s not just about football. It’s about connection, confidence, and community. We often say it’s 30% football, 70% engagement—because the real magic happens off the pitch.
