Event Navigation

***This event is aimed specifically at Community Link Workers who are working directly within a primary care setting in Scotland. Managers/Programme Leads for Community Link Workers are also welcome to attend.***
This event will take place online on Zoom.
Our knowledge exchange events are a great opportunity for Community Link Workers to hear from and engage with organisations that can support both them and their patients.
In our 7th event, you will hear from Joy Gillespie, CEO from Survivors in Human Trafficking in Scotland (SOHTIS). SOHTIS believes everyone deserves to live in freedom with dignity and respect. Working in partnership with others, they encourage, enable and empower those recovered from human trafficking to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.
We will also be joined by Judith Kennon, Health Systems Engagement Manager from Diabetes Scotland. Diabetes Scotland provides lots of training, resources and information to people in Scotland who are coping with Diabetes.
Our final presentation will be from Esther Lynn, Engagement Officer for Re-engage which is a charity that is positive about older age and is committed to fighting loneliness. They inspire and enable meaningful connections and shared experiences within communities across the UK for people over 75 facing loneliness and social isolation.
After each presentation, there will be time for Q&A and discussion with the presenter.
Please contact Lauren Blair if you have any questions.
