Essential Connections – exploring the range and scope of community link worker programmes across Scotland
Voluntary Health Scotland published its report Essential Connections on 30th November 2023. The report which explores the range and scope of community link worker programmes across Scotland is the culmination of 9 months’ research which included a survey with community link workers and interviews with 18 programme leads. The report is the first of its kind to provide a picture of the country’s community link working landscape and looks in more depth into how programmes are designed, delivered, monitored and evaluated across Scotland.
In this session, Roisin Hurst, Project Manager for The Scottish Community Link Worker Network, will present some of the key findings from the report before opening the session for further Q&A and discussion.
