For the third year running, VHS is holding a Parliamentary Reception to promote and celebrate the work of the Cross Party Group on Health Inequalities, of which we are Secretariat.
Sponsored by Anas Sarwar MSP, Co-Convenor of the CPG, and supported by NHS Health Scotland, the reception takes place in the Garden Lobby of the Scottish Parliament on the evening of Tuesday 5th November.
We are pleased to welcome Dr Johanna Hanefeld to present on WHO’s Healthy, Prosperous Lives for All – the European Health Equity Status Report 2019, including why WHO chose the CPG on Health Inequalities as one of its case studies.
Dr Johanna Hanefeld is Associate Professor in Health Policy and Systems Research, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She leads the School’s office in Berlin and her work is in the field of health policy and systems, with a focus on the political economy of global health.
