The next meeting for the Cross Party Group on Health Inequalities will take place in the Scottish Parliament on Thursday 7th December 2017 at 1pm in Committee Room 2.
Meeting Topic: “What can arts and culture do for health inequalities? Developing A Culture Strategy for Scotland” We are delighted that Leonie Bell, Head of Culture Strategy at the Scottish Government and Margaret O’Connor, Chief Executive at the charity Art in Healthcare will lead us through a timely exploration of how the future Culture Strategy could and should contribute to addressing Scotland’s health inequalities.
This CPG meeting aims to build stronger links and engagement between the cultural and health sectors, and will be listed as an engagement event on the Scottish Government website: The Culture Strategy for Scotland
At this meeting MSPs will also consider applications from a number of organisations that have advised us they wish to join the CPG.
