With Health promising to be one of the key battlegrounds ahead of May’s Scottish Parliament elections, British Heart Foundation Scotland would like to invite you to attend a series of open interviews Holyrood magazine will be hosting with the health leads for the SNP, Scottish Labour and Scottish Conservatives.
Ahead of the publication of our Health Manifesto Special Issue, Mandy Rhodes Managing Director of Holyrood Magazine will be interviewing Shona Robison MSP, (Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing & Sport, Scottish Government and SNP), Jackson Carlaw MSP (Deputy Leader and Health Spokesperson, Scottish Conservatives) and Jenny Marra MSP (Spokesperson for Equality, Scottish Labour).
The events will last for approximately ninety minutes, with refreshments available from 8:30am and the interviews starting at 9:00am. There will be the chance to open up the interviews to questions from the floor, and attendees will be invited to submit questions on arrival. There will also be a full write up in Holyrood’s Health Manifesto Special Issue, scheduled for publication on 14th March.
Attendance is free but by invitation only, and we have extended invitations to a select group of key health stakeholders from across the country.
Future meetings include:
2nd March – Jenny Marra MSP, Spokesperson for Equality
All three events will be held at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 22-26 George St, Edinburgh EH2 2PQ
As numbers are limited, we would advise that you confirm attendance at the earliest opportunity, and we would also be grateful if you could advise us if, having confirmed, you become unable to attend for any reason.
