This unique event, sponsored by Paul McLennan MSP, will take place in the Garden Lobby and provides a valuable opportunity to engage with Members of the Scottish Parliament, health and policy decision-makers in Scotland, as well as other third sector representatives.

In a period of considerable change and reform in our health landscape, including an ambitious shift towards a more prevention-centred health system, this event provides a unique opportunity for MSPs and policymakers to learn more about the vital contribution of the third sector to health creation in Scotland. It also provides a fantastic opportunity for third sector organisations to connect with one another. Join us for what promises to be a vibrant, informative and engaging event in the centre for Scottish democracy.

There will be a variety of ways for members to engage with stakeholders at this event. Seven stalls and ten 60-second spotlight sessions will be allocated through an application process. If you’re a VHS member and interested in applying please get in touch as the deadline to apply is by 5pm on Friday 6th November. Those organisations who are successful in securing a stall or spotlight session will be notified by Thursday 12th November.

If members do not secure a stall or spotlight session, there will still be plenty of opportunities to engage with key stakeholders at the event. Representatives from VHS and the VHS Health Policy Officers Network will facilitate networking opportunities. There is also the option to include a PowerPoint slide for a presentation that will be displayed on a loop throughout the event.
