This event is for Community Link Workers, Social Prescribers and VHS members who are interested in advancing green health in Scotland.
NatureScot and Voluntary Health Scotland (VHS) are hosting an online workshop for VHS members, community link workers, social prescribers, green health providers and anyone interested in promoting and advancing green health in Scotland. Join us for a discussion about green health in Scotland, followed by breakout workshops which explore the opportunities for, and barriers to, supporting people to engage with nature for their health and wellbeing through green social prescribing.
The aim of the event is to support people to:
- Understand the current extent that community link workers and others promote green health in their communities through support, advice, green health prescriptions, referrals to local programmes etc.
- Explore what barriers and enablers exist in this area to inform what further support/investment is needed to propel this work.
