***This event is aimed specifically at Community Link Workers who are working directly within a Primary Care setting in Scotland. Managers/Programme Leads for these Community Link Workers are also welcome to attend.***
This event will take place online on Zoom.
The Scottish Community Link Worker Network will be hosting its third Knowledge Exchange Event on Thursday 8th June from 10am – 12pm
We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by speakers from Age Scotland and Kidney Research UK.
Doug Anthoney who is Health and Wellbeing Manager at Age Scotland will talk about Age Scotland’s Community Connecting Service, its health and wellbeing advice guides and training opportunities.
Bushra Riaz, Policy Lead (Scotland) from Kidney Research UK will discuss the work they do, with a focus on the peer support work they do with ethnic minorities on organ donation and kidney health /disease.
Each presentation will be followed by Q&A and open discussion with the presenters and other attendees.
