The Mental Health Advocacy Project (MHAP) provides an independent advocacy service for people with mental health problems resident or in hospital in West Lothian. MHAP offers individual and collective advocacy to adults and young people to help with a range of issues such as: detention, care and treatment, housing issues, family issues, benefits/financial issues, accessing legal assistance, etc. We can also help people to access information about local groups and services and national groups.
