SUMMARY:Community Link Workers – Demonstrating Impact on Health Inequalities
DESCRIPTION:***This event is aimed specifically at Community Link Workers who are working directly within a Primary Care setting in Scotland and who would be interested in understanding how to demonstrate their impact on tackling health inequalities.*** \nEvaluation Support Scotland (ESS) and Voluntary Health Scotland (VHS) are holding a joint learning workshop to help Community Link Workers explain and measure their work by drawing on the ESS resource Recognising our rich tapestry. \nBook your place here.\nThis session may appeal to you if you are keen to review how you currently evaluate your work. Perhaps you are wondering: \n\n“How can I show that my work has stopped someone going into crisis?”\n“Counting the number of people we help doesn’t show the full picture of our impact. How can I show the breadth of my impact?”\n“What kind of evidence should I collect to show our contribution to health inequalities?”\n“How can I help others better understand what difference we make?”\n\nAt this event we will: \n\nShare with you some key steps from our resource: “Recognising our rich tapestry: measuring the contribution of third sector organisations to tackling health inequalities”\nProvide an opportunity to reflect on what this means in relation to your work\nCreate space to share experiences of evaluation with other Community Link Workers\n\nWe think this will help you: \n\nFeel more confident to take steps to evaluate your work\nBetter understand where to go for more information/support\nBetter understand how to demonstrate your impact on health inequalities\n\nThis is a joint event run by Evaluation Support Scotland (ESS) and Voluntary Health Scotland (VHS). \n@VHSComms   \n@EvalSupScot \nPlease contact Lauren Blair if you have any questions. \nThis event is for the the Scottish Community Link Worker Network please contact Roisin Hurst  if you have any questions on the network.
