SUMMARY:Insight to Impact: Third Sector Data as a Catalyst for Change - VHS AGM Event
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we showcase third sector organisations as a unique and under-utilised source of health data at our AGM event. \nVHS members generate an incredible amount of evidence and insight into the causes and possible solutions for addressing health inequalities in Scotland. They provide unique and innovative analysis of national health datasets\, gather impact data about what creates health\, as well as undertaking important qualitative and quantitative research. Despite this\, evidence from the third sector is often undervalued by Scottish decision-makers. \nThis event will shine a spotlight on the rich data and insight generated by our members. We’ll also explore how third sector data could be better used by decision-makers\, including policy makers\, funders and politicians\, to bring about lasting change. \nThis event will include a short AGM meeting with the opportunity to briefly hear about Voluntary Health Scotland’s achievements in 2024-2025.
