Christine was a senior civil servant in the Scottish Government, leading in various policy areas, including Education and the Third Sector. She spent 8 years in the Scottish Prison Service, with Board roles as Director of HR and Director Estates. She led several £multi-million procurements, including the first PFI prison in Scotland. Having joined the Third Sector in 2015, Christine has worked at senior level in both UK and Scottish charities – she was the first Chief Executive of a charity supporting families whose children have learning difficulties. Her current role is Director Scotland, Home-Start, a UK charity supporting families with young children.
Christine is also a member of Changing the Chemistry (CtC) a peer-led charity focused on improving diversity of thought in the boardroom, where she is part of the Strategic Communications team.
